need help with struggling Passiflora vines

I am located in Orange county, southern California zone 10a. trying to save my passiflora vines! Its the

Passiflora
alatocaerulea variety, 5g originally planted in February in containers. the location gets full sun and we have been having very high temps in the last couple weeks but the vines have been struggling for a while after doing well in the beginning. We had a few flowers in spring, and many caterpillars that are turning into beautiful gulf frittilary butterflies but the vines look terrible. What can I do to save these? Any insight/advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, NK. Because you have the vines in pots, the problem may be specific to container gardening, rather than the Passiflora. You will likely find lots of helpful information over in the container gardening forum here. First thing to check: are you overwatering? Then, are you giving the plants appropriate fertilizers? There are hundreds of existing discussions on these two topics. Good luck, and keep us posted.
