Won't you see the cut side of the laminate with an undermount?

We have laminate in the bathroom. No problems. I think they make an undermount sink specifically for laminate - look up karran.

Just use a drop in sink. Or select a solid surface quartz and be done. The "savings" on laminate over five years is minimal.

Karran makes sinks designed for undermounting in plastic laminate; they've been around for years and are much better than a drop-in.

Laminate would be great for your application. Yes they make under mount sinks. I have one.
