Photos would indeed help. However, if it is dark narra wood that has not been refinished, as most victorian sets are quite dark, then you might consider the options below with a white/gray floral. If there is any color with the white/gray then you might consider pulling out that color, otherwise find a pop of color that you like instead. Off white, cream and gray rugs will always work, as well.

Thanks Elizabeth you are a big help! There is also a hint of pale pinkish salmon color on most of the flowers. I need to accentuate otherwise it's gonna be boring but I'm so afrai)d I could go wrong using bright colors. I have a painting that I plan to use with the sofa, what do you think guys?

Is it ok if the sofa overlaps with the window?
