I am so sad that I did not get a chance to show Bruce how interested I was in following his directions on how to divide hostas as per his recent threads. I knew I was planning to divide a couple of my hostas, and I thought he would have been so pleased to see me following his directions. It looks as though I will be thinking of Bruce many times each season---each time I divide and bleach, and when I see these divided hostas emerge each year. I will miss reading his posts here on the Hosta Forum.

Unfortunately and to my surprise, I found there was some root and crown rot! So the clean up and bleaching took more time than anticipated.

And then planted. I am planning to donate some to my annual horticultural society's plant sale next year.

And I didn't forget to cut the leaves off. I just couldn't, but I will in the next few days. I thank Bruce for the education he has given me.
