Move to another position when leafless or discard if not wanted anywhere else in the garden.

No point living with a plant that's unsuited to the site. Remove and replace. It's fun to go shopping!

agree ... somebody ... sited it for its size at purchase .. right there in a blank corner .. with no real concept of its HUGE potential ... and then left it for you to deal with ...

just get rid of it ... sharpen a shovel ... get a sawzall or saw ready.. cut most of it down leaving one or two longer pieces for leverage ... start digging about 18 inches out ... and when you find a root... cut it .. and keep going at it.. sooner or later you can start rocking it back and forth ... continue ad nausuem.. until you are done ..

better yet.. find a couple teenagers that you can bribe to dig it out ... food usually works .. lol .. even better if they are yours.. and you can lock them out of the house until the job is done ...

and dont replant some new thing with huge potential ... in that corner .. lol
