I finally found and bought a Moonshine Sans a few months ago. So happy had been looking for one for a long time! But it hasn't been growing during all this time, and now summer is over and all (it's got a well draining soil like all my other Sansevierias and waters it every 2-3 weeks when the soil has become dry) I repotted it when I bought it and took the several clumps apart to give it some more space to grow and breath, the roots were completely crowded when I got it home and some leaves were badly hurt so got rid of those. I also saw that some would-be new clumps of leaves seemed to have died in that crowded pot a long time ago and was completely wilted when I loosened everything and got rid of all the old soil.

But another problem with it is that when I bought it it had several brown, dry tips one the leaves. Those leaves in the middle does not look like they reached their full size yet, but they don't grow.

I've searched the internet several times for information if it's true or not that broken tips means the leaves won't grow any longer. I found information saying its true, and other information saying it's only a rumor on the internet. But mine sure does not seem to want to grow, and it makes me sad since I can see that the leaves are not "finished" yet.

Do you think my Moonshine just needs a very long time to recover?

Oh, and what can cause the tips of such young leaves to go dry like that?
