Do you have shelves now for the cabinet? Are they glass or wood? This would make a fantastic place to store margarita and other cocktail glasses. Paint the back a deep turquoise with the white as a contrast. Change the hardware to something more rustic, like hammered copper. If you can't fill all the shelves with glasses, use higher area to hang not cheesy Mexican art or even vintage travel posters.

You can also mirror the back but make sure it reflects a nice view.
