Its a systemic root zone treatment. Mix in a garden bucket and pour in the root zone. The objective is to have the roots take up the Agri-fos and help fight off the possible infection(s).

I can't say for sure if it was the Agri-Fos that worked or not.

I applied it to 1) an in-ground grapefruit on Carrizo with a water log issue due to sprinkler / pipe breakage, 2) an 8 ft tall pummelo seedling in a water logged / drain-hole-clogged pot, and 3) an over-watered Eustis on Volk ex-plant. In all cases the plants recovered and are thriving.

So what I am saying is, I cannot be sure that Agri-Fos was the reason the plants came back, but I can say that it's application offered me the peace of mind and insurance; and that I did everything that I could do to bring them back from the cliff of death. - George

I definitely know what I did wrong, overwatering, and letting the hose splash the soil up on the trunk and branches! Hoping the Agri-fos will help the plant fight off the fungus now!

Oh, and I also read, on one of the UC pages, that for home gardens, sometimes just cutting off the affected parts and treating topically with a copper fungicide is good enough to keep things under control, so I'll look into that if it happens again!

Also Gardengal, since you have commented on my post about sudden death of a couple of plants, I poured the remnants of my pail around the dying hydrangea, wondering if a fungus might be to blame there as well! Will keep you posted on any recovery there too! Thanks for your advice!
