Hi Richard, Are u in Toronoto? My brother has a 10 years old Verns brown turkey, and quick big, I can take cuttings from his tree often.

Regarding Dany of Brugmansia, Those CdDM high end trees I got from him are fake, waste me 2 years, I got black Maderia from him as well, It looks real, His black mission is real while black mission I got from nursery is fake with white flesh.

Jack, do you have any Black Madeira cutting? I couldn't go to Kelowna to pick up the plant from Anna in 2017..

Dan has them but usually they are sold out quite fast.

Trinh, sorry, I got my black medeira plant from Dany, It came with FMV mites, using pesticide treatment hurted it badly plus other mistakes, 1 year has passed, now It has only 3 sick leaves without any growing, Hoping that it will do better this year. ( Highly likely it will not).

I got B/M cutting from Anna, it roots with 2 bady leaves, Hopefully it will grow, I find B/M is very hard to root and grow very slow. It is better to do air layering or grafting on some good rootstock for good results, My skill level is too low to do it now.

I am rooting them outdoor, I hate to root them indoor with Gnats( bugs) Etc.

In order to reduce Gnats/bugs, I do not use manure/compost in soils, Just some cheap peat moss/perite/ slow release MG, I will water them with blue MG water with some compost on top , They will grow quickly later.

Those B/M trees are very strange and fall in sleep anytime, I put mine under sun, Pay close attention to its tip, in 2 weeks, you will see them wake up and those tip leafing out, My B/M wakes up for 2 weeks with new leaves of 4 inches size, It had 3 old leaves without growing for few months.

Matt, I don't have any rooted cutting for sale but I will be trimming my tree in the fall. I can give you some free cuttings. You can just pay for shipping (located in Van, BC). I don't know the variety - I think it's brown turkey. Anyone know, let me know. Thanks
