How many years do you wait to determine mature size and shape for your seedlings? Have you registered many?

Babka, I watch my seedlings for at least four years before I would consider registering them. I have only registered one so far - Smiling Susan and plan to register one either this Fall or next - Stalwart Steve.

Four years is very good. When I look thru the New Registrations booklet, many of them are 2-3 years old. Really, in those few years, how can anyone tell how they will look at maturity or even if they are stable?

These two were named after the owners of one of my favorite nurseries - Steve and Sue Kovacs of Rosewind Gardens. dJacobs, that is a seedling from this year and will be under evaluation for several years before I name it if ever.

Rosewind Gardens will have a very limited number next year but they don't do on-line shopping. It would probably be quite a drive from NC to Michigan ! Thanks for the kind words on it though.
