Oakleaf hydrangea "Ruby Slippers" and "Gatsby Gal"

Any feedback on these? I love, love, love oakleafs - problem is they get pretty big for a foundation planting (had Alice and some other no-name at other house). I rounded up a few "Sykes Dwarf" end of last season on clearance, but those are nowhere to be found this year at the local nurseries. So, I ended with "Ruby Slippers"; not sure I'll like coloration of the aged blooms, but I needed a shorter cultivar for this particular spot. A local nursery also has "Gatsby Gal" for a blow-out price, and I'm debating picking up a few of these in an area that can take shrubbery with a bit more height. What's your feedback on these two?
