Hello,

I bought a house last year and just re-did the flooring and removed a woodstove and surrounding rock wall. The front door opens into the room and there are two sets of large windows.

Since the work was done, I've puzzled over the layout and tried several different configurations, but most of them have left me feeling like I'm under-utilizing the space.

I'm open to having two separate seating/conversation areas but haven't figured out how to make that work with the windows. I'm also open to one larger space, but again, don't want to have a lot of dead space in the room because it's a small house and this is where we spend our time. If we have one larger seating area, I see the couch going in the middle of the room with the TV on the wall far from the door.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or feedback.
