They are two different colors of white! One is a warmer white than the other. You will have to get samples/swatches of the two and compare which you like better. Just because the names are similar doesn't mean they are similar in color - other than they are shades of white.

This is Dover White on my trim, swinging doors and perimeter cabs. My beams and ceiling, and wall are not dover white. They are SW Accessible Beige.

To further complicate the issue, Valspar has a Dove White. That is the paint I used on all my woodwork several years ago. I would not call it creamy...just white..maybe with a gray undertone.

Sherwin Williams doesn't have a color named Dove White.

SW's is Dover White. Drove my painter crazy talking to me because I couldn't keep them straight.

We chose BM White Dove and it looks clean but not too crisp on our exterior. Pretty much what I wanted.

My kitchen cabinets are BM Cloud White. Before I chose, I considered BM Dover White and found it a bit too gray/drab. In fairness, it was really in comparison to CW which is creamier.

FWIW, most paint lines have a Navajo White and Swiss Coffee but that doesn't make any of them the same.

Love BM White Dove! Someday soon I will be painting more of my house this color. For now I started with the bathroom.

Your White Dove is really pretty. I used it too. Mine on especially one wall and others sometimes looks blue. Wanted it all white. Do you know the facing Direction of your house. I thought that mine was SE but only kitchen came out looking DW pretty.
Cannot at this time justify repaintng only had it several months
I need to paint master which is off foyer and steps across the foyer. I’ll have to rethink what to do there.
