Hi. I am a mosaic artist. I was recently contacted and asked to replicate a piece I made to use in a swimming pool (what a dream). I really need some guidance however. I mainly use sheet glass in my mosaics because I can get really good detail. I cant seem to find anything on individuals creating mosaics that aren't prefab or are not using glass or ceramic tile. Tile isn't an option so...First, Id like to ask if anyone has completed a project like this before using glass 2. Is there any reason you could not use art glass such as spectrum, bullseye, ect... 3. Any dialogue would be helpful. The dimensions are 9' x 6'. Its a big job and I want to make sure there are no stability issues before I start. Thank you in advance.
