IMO, it's fabulous. That's how wallpaper is supposed to look!

With the chairs upholstered in the fame fabric, the first thing that came to mind was "No imagination".

It doesn't help that the chairs are slipcovered in the same pattern and that the rug is light-colored. It all blends together in an unhappy way. A different rug, darker paintings, wall sconces and more furniture in a contrasting color would help to tame the wallpaper.

I never understand why wallpaper also belongs on the furniture and as window treatments.

I think matchy matchy is a way of easily conveying financial status. Matching chairs and walls and window treatments are obviously custom. I would not be surprised if there was a canopy or four poster bed in the room that also had some version of the pattern on it.

I don't dislike the room but it's a little stale looking.

It's a bit pink.

If you take all the furniture and wall decor out and start over...I really think it could be a beautiful room with the wallpaper. The doors, molding, wood floors and fireplace are great as well.

I mean, it's not my taste or something I would have but think it's pretty.

Oh Granny, Your room is ready!

It bothers me that even the fireplace blends in with the wallpaper. If I were in that room, I would probably get dizzy because my eyes would not know where to rest. I wonder how someone on LSD would feel in that room. At least the floor has a plain pattern, which is a relief. I do like the rug they chose, and I especially like the doors.

Oh grandma, where are you hiding? ;)

I've never been a big wallpaper fan, but I think it's a perfectly fine traditional room for those who like wallpaper. Not terribly interesting, but nothing to get excited about, as far as I can see. Very nice old work table in great condition.
