Hello. In my opinion, you need to change a bed back for more beautiful and to allocate a wall behind a bed. Well like it.

I like that idea but I have no plan to do such a thing right now. I just want some decoration..add some frames, lamp, change wall lights...

I would go with something softer like in the picture, when searching you can put in linen shade sconces. I agree about changing them out to something more cozy and welcoming.
