Help! We are getting ready to install our kitchen back splash and have discovered that two outlets will fall right on the border of where the back splash ends and the wall above begins. To be clear of the back splash and on the wall we need to move these outlets up 3 inches, however our electrician is stating that there's not enough wire to go up. Is this true or is he just unwilling to accommodate? Could we not install a junction box behind the wall and then add the additional wiring needed to go up 3"? Appreciate the feedback everyone!
