Need paint color Help, please!

After a master BR disastrous choice of earth green...I am attempting to find a color choice for my kitchen, living, foyer which all flow together. I thought SW Silver Strand was the ticket, then I thought Glidden Dusty Miller was the ticket....this has been months of trying different colors from Latte to a purplish gray...I just can't find the right color for this big space. Please help!

Since there are lots of brown tones already, I would stick with that color family.

Try the Benjamin Moore Color Stories Collection. These colors are developed with pure pigments and change with light. Take a look at Butter Cookie CSP-995, Crumb Cake CSP-1010 and Dulce de Leche CSP-250 these warm neutrals have character and should look great with your furniture, materials, textiles and cabinets.

Instead of looking for the perfect neutral to go with all the browns and beige colors of your furniture and cabinets, why not try a more contrasting color? Celery green, for example (look at Benjamin Moore "Prescott Green") might be a good choice.

BM Shaker beige at half formula.

I would paint bookcases and mantle soft white, remove the three hanging things to
Left of FP and have only 2 shelves in all sections like the section on left, but line up all shelves across.

Too much going on on the FP wall let the FP be the stand out.

Judy....painting book cases and fireplace mantle is not an option at this point, as I just paid a fortune to get the natural maple. I am going to redo the book shelves, as I agree there is a lot going on...don't know what to put on them to make them less busy tho. Also, why move the 3 hanging things? Do I leave it a blank wall?

Ok, took 2 shelves down and made shelves match....still looks busy busy right??

You have a beautiful home. Your lovely fireplace, though neutral itself, has many colors in the stones. I'd try to pick one of the softer tones from those. It should blend well with your cabinetry and furnishings.
