Kitchen help

We're buying a home and hoping to do some work to the kitchen. The floors are a light tile which we don't want to change. I really want to have the cupboards painted white and install a white/gray/brown granite but I'm afraid the kitchen will look washed out. Our other option is darker granite with white cabinets and light floor or staining the cabinets darker. Any thoughts? I wish I had pictures...

    yes, photos would help. by "light tile" on the floor, do you mean white, or is it beige?

    with white cabinets and beige floors, i suspect i would lean towards a darker counter.

    have you tried searching kitchens on Houzz? you could actually type all of your options into the search bar and probably find similar examples to what you are considering. Here are a couple of examples with beige floors, white cabinets, and dark counters.
