Trying to identify the Salvia

Trying to identify this Salvia, if it is Salvia. It's been a green mound until around the first of September, now it is blooming. The winds we had with the last hurricane laid down some of the stems. The plants are about 5 to 6 feet tall. We live in central Alabama. The closest I could come to was Anise Sage Black & Blue. Also how is the best way to propogate this plant?
