I would like to plant a semi-dwarf citrus tree and I have only one place left :) that is pretty close to my house. So, I would like to limit/restrict root development and tree size and I am thinking of buying a planter grow bag (probably a 10 or 15 gallon one).

The tree will be planted inground inside of that bag. However, I am afraid that roots will destroy the bag in 2-3 years.

Will it work? Have you ever had any experience with grow bags?
