Hello all,

I have a roughly 16'x10' two story shed on my property already. About 3 feet away is an almost 16'x10' concrete pad. It's a few inches short, but a neighbor of mine is expanding it to be big enough to fit the entire shed. So, my only real question, my brother (who's a pretty good carpenter) suggested putting some sort of treated wood and placing the shed on top of that. Everyone else seems to think I should just lift the shed and place it on there.

The existing shed is in pretty good shape on the inside, except the wood floor which is rotten to hell. The shed sinks each year, which is why I'm moving it. It looks like the boards that run along the ground that the framing was built on are in good shape. (Can't remember their name, the 2x4's on their side along the bottom). I figured I can just place the shed on the pad and anchor the shed through those boards.

Thoughts?
