Would like to see the cabinet sample with the first slab. The second one looks a bit cool. For sure, hold off on picking your paint (the most flexible choice) until the other big finishes have been picked.

Personal opinion...I would go with the Danby, although color-wise, it's very hard to get an accurate rendering under the lights of the stone warehouse. Things will look different when viewing under your home lighting.
Although the quartzite and marble are both beautiful, I believe there is something softer and very appealing about marble. It's just a different look.

I love the Gramercy Park tile. Which selection will you be using?

@nidnay http://www.walkerzanger.com/collections/products.php?view=mat&coll=Gramercy+Park™ 2x6 field tile. Looks grey in website photos - it's more of a griege and not blue - hence the name.

@nidnay - long story why I already have the backsplash chosen. Do you have an alternative with the Danby in mind besides white subway- would love any suggestions? Meanwhile, fabricator couldn't pull pricing together on Friday so I have until Monday to decide on ct.

Be sure that you can actually live with marble. It chips, etches, and scratches because it is a living surface. Wear and tear is considered normal. Be sure that you find that desirable.
