Need Ideas 4 mantle

Just rebuilt mantle - looking for stain ideas.
Unfortunately, TV has to stay above mantle because of room layout. I'm not opposed to painting behind TV another color - current paint color is a light blue grey. Just no idea what color.
Also, I have a reclaimed wood accent wall across from TV - not in picture - I had contemplated putting some white bead board behind it, all the way up.
