I think if you got a bigger rug, bigger coffee table, bigger TV console, and hung your curtains higher and wider, your space would be very nicely filled

Put the flowers together & do the above. Your drapes are close enough to ceiling. But should touch mop board or almost floor.

Your eye is telling you that the scale of things are not right. Your sofa pieces need to be closer together, forming an L shape with a table in the L. The art pieces need to be stacked in the corner. The rug is too small, but can be adjusted to where it is scooched under the front legs of the larger sofa and the coffee table is placed in front of the large sofa 18" from it. The large TV (and don't we all have one!) needs a longer console to support it. Rule of thumb: console under tv should be 25% longer. If you make the suggested changes and repost photos, we will be happy to add some little suggestions for a beautiful space!

Why do you have two of the same picture?

Pretty room! I like the mix of gray and yellow, and florals with the large scale print on the rug. However, I agree with the others. You need a much larger area rug, larger TV cabinet, larger coffee table, as well as wider curtains that reach the floor.

What do you suggest for the wall next to the television since the sconces are kind of small?? I just wanted more on that wall so I purchased them.

Should I stick with a round table or a rectangular table?

Should I stick with the sheer curtains or go with a yellow or a gray heavier curtain??as in not sheer.

I'm also thinking abt a yellow arm in there somewhere...

I'd mount the TV to the wall and remove the sconces. Don't buy things to put on the wall just to fill space. Space is okay. Things should have purpose and scale.

I would like to see either stacked pics - though not the same one please, or longer and a little thinner. I would like to have a nicer rug - not so common. and just a general wow maybe? I will try to help. You have done well, it is all a bit what everyone has.

As far as the pictures. I wanted something to bring more yellow into the room and I found these pictures. I felt like would never find another picture that would match so we'll do I bought both of them so I would have one picture and nothing in the other side.

I definitely want to mount the and that was our intention but I'm kind of worried that it might be to heavy. If we don't buy another one this year we will mount this one.

Should I keep the sheer curtains? If no, what color? I know they need to be longer.

Having two identical pieces of artwork up is very dull and uninspired. Yes, it makes everything symmetrical, and they certainly do match the pillows, but they give the room a boring hotel room/reception area feel. Look around for artwork that draws you in, that you love, that is special, one-of-a-kind. That will make this room special and one-of-a-kind.
You don't have to go to some exclusive expensive gallery for art! You find it in student art shows, street fairs, garage sales!!!

Floor lamp in corner, may still be able to pull table out a bit in front or to side of lamp. Think about adding a couple of purple cushions perhaps, those colours look cool together
