Are you willing to keep the bunk bed? If not, you can get a twin bed with an underneath drawer mattress and place it under the window with 2 nightstands and shades. Change e curtains also to roman shades. then place a built in desk along the opposite wall, where the desk is now. Ill try to post some pics of the bed and the desk I have in mind

Is there enough space to place two twin beds with headboards against a square table placed in one corner. Teens like their own space especially with siblings. Desk and chest of drawers would occupy third wall. Another thought is whether the desk/ computer might be placed in another room. Many parents like an place where the computer can be easily monitored.

We are thinking about getting rid of the bunk beds. I do like the idea of the bed with a trundle under the window. Unfortunately we do not have enough room of 2 twin beds and a table in the corner.

Can't see all your room, but you have the bones there. Is there a wardrobe for storage? Do you have adequate storage? Could you do a desk with a return where the table is or have a corner desk and add drawers or shelving with doors. You need to hide as much as possible, even the printer, if you could put it on a shelf under the desk area. Some of these photos have more than you would have room for, but just trying to give you a few ideas to incorporate parts into your space.

The problem with a trundle is that you still need the space to pull the bed out, so it is really no different to having twin beds. I'm having a similar problem with my 2nd spare bedroom my grandkids use when they stay, although I don't have to worry about a desk, space is still tight. I'm using an L shaped bunk so under the upper bunk will be storage.

These will fold flat against either wall, and provide shelving. Extend storage up the wall of your desk area. A closed cabinet setup like olldroo is showing will make the room seem larger. I'd also suggest taller clothing storage than the bureau you have, with one large piece of artwork hung above.

College dorm rooms offer creative options for maximizing small spaces. One well liked idea is to have twin loft beds for each child with a computer/desk under one and a futon under the other. Google "loft beds for teens with desk" to see examples:-)
