I am looking to add a raised garden bed against the front of my house to add some interest by creating levels to the garden. I am looking to make it approx 10" high. The house behind it is concrete block.

I was thinking of using dryloc on the area where the soil would cover to ensure no moisture issues down the road.

is building up the soil 10" against the concrete block feasible? Or would that lead to structural moisture issues even if I did use dryloc first?

i did recently add some new planrs, however it still lacks much visual interest. Which I why I thought a layered bed with a small stacked rock wall would look nice
