I recently got 4 6 inch avs. Still with lots of blooms so I've had them on my floor until I was ready to transplant and put them in their new home. So my mom noticed them on the floor and just couldn't believe I haven't put them on a shelf somewhere and still sitting there.

I don't have a set time when I repot a new av..I guess I do it when the mood strikes. Sometimes the day of receiving them and other times its a week or more later. I guess instinct. I've not had any issues...until last night... I repotted 3 of them (the 4th is part of my fall decor)..within a few hours..flop city. I can see why they call it transplant shock...it IS shocking lol.

Off I went in search of something big enough to bag these monster..settled for trash bags ( I have issues with leaves touching the sides and getting too wet). Then getting air into these bags..I don't suggest jumping right up and walking either..take a few breaths then start moving lol.

So now..I have 3 giant blown up trash bags...a little less hot air...and wishing I just listened to my instinct..and not my mom
