Nice, Susanne! When we say they are sitting there and doing nothing, they are actually doing something- growing roots and getting stronger ( this remark does not apply to the trees that are sick and the roots that are in trouble).

Citrus timeclocks can get fooled all the time. I have fukushu, Bearss, lemons and others blooming right now. It's a tropical thing I guess.

I have a CaraCara putting out a new flush of leaves and blossoms as well. It pretty much just sat all summer doing nothing and, now, growing like gang busters.

Yes Bob, I will not let it set fruit but want to smell the (Roses) flowers ;)

A number of my trees are putting out new growth: calamondin, yuzu, Mexican sweet lime, Palestinian sweet lime and a few others. My old (35 year) calamondin is covered with blossoms.

Vladimir that is awesome. I think here it has a lot to do with the really cold august and then BAM, all the sudden really hot. Must have tricked the trees somehow I think. Just hoping they will not suffer when moving in the house next week.

Susanne, you may be right. The two sweet limes are especially putting out a lot of new growth. You would think it was June.
