Make gray look less blue? :(

BM Baby Fawn on my walls looks cream at times but other times gray/blue. Tried it out on foam core (2 coats) sampled it on the wall and it never looked blue. Floors are orange-ish so Im guessing that's throwing the color off? Can I add new drapes, pillows to help make the wall color more cream/warm/ beige? TIA!!

Try different light bulbs? Or when does it look gray/blue?

Thank you. Looks better with lights ON or when sun is coming through. Have old style incandescent bulbs in now. I'll try to attach photo ;)

Throwing a large colorful rug over your floor would be my first suggestion, perhaps with cream, soft green, terracotta and soft blue or turquoise colors. Drapes I would make solid cream, perhaps in a self pattern, pillow colors would depend on your soft furnishings. Large paintings in warm colors might also help.

Here's a pic of the grayish blue

I see cream/beige in the photo. It really is about light/shadows etc. I guess.

OK growing on me now. Just seems pretty cool after living with Monroe Bisque for 10 years! LOL

I like it but on my monitor it does look more grayish than cream.

It definitely is a chameleon color! Thanks for your help y'all. :)

I would LOVE to see a pic of the entire room. Just that small area you showed up is lovely and a teaser.

Ugh!! Friends have also commented it is grey/blue. I may need to repaint.:( is there a very light tan color that looks like a cream with brown undertones? Manchester tan? Sand? Cream with a Brown hue? This color feels really cold.

I think it looks lovely. If you can not stand the color, then try a swatch of Manchester tan. It looks pretty tan to me.

We had Monroe bisque before which was too yellow. TIA for the help!

Opening this up for help and discussion again. Trying not to lose my mind . LOL! Looking for a warm light tan color. A light beige possibly?
Baby fawn looks grey/blue. It's too cold for this room. Want an off white with warm brownish tones but no pink/yellow/peach undertones. Any advice? :) may try the Muslin out today!

From what you have described (on my monitor) muslin look best for you (however it does seem to have some yellow undertones it in it). My next thought (no yellow or pink etc undertones), I really like old prairie.

I think Pale Oak may also read bluish.

Try SW Accessible Beige or BM Manchester Tan
