It looks big because there is nothing in the room....curtains, end table, lamps, pillows, colorful artifacts on the tray on the ottoman, art work with color or texture. Keep going!

I think it is quite unattractive and it seems impractical as well.
(I wouldn't be so brutally honest if it wasn't returnable!!)

I wouldn’t call this a coffee table...how can anyone reach it for a coffee cup ? Or even set a cup on it?...Or any of the other things you want to have handy ...

the piece is lovely but really serves better,as an ottoman if you can get it close enough to all the seating...otherwise it only functions well as something to look at...

Just not feeling it for this room...it seems awkward and too large....

Moving the whole grouping closer to the fireplace so the chairs and sofa can share corner tables would be cozier..might also create enough space to add a console table against the wall beneath the art that is behind the sofa...

If this is a frequently used room I don’t think a tufted ottoman is very practical. Also, I don’t think the color is right. Since your chairs are so dark I would recommend a wood table in a lighter shade. Closer to the color of your floors so long as you are keeping the area rug. I also agree that everything needs to be pulled in.

Love this oversized neutral tray from Zgallery..I think it would blend very well into your space..:)

Any chance you could post a image in better light? I think your room would really benefit from LED light bulbs in daylight 1600 Lumens..it brings beautiful pure daylight into your room..once you change them out you won't believe the difference in your space!!
