You may be over thinking this. I use the cheap T-8 shop lights. Two sets which is 4 bulbs. I use the daylight type which is 5000 k on the light scale. Best is 6500 k which is more on the brightest blue scale. Any higher you would be moving into x-rays. LED's are into that range but I am using LED's in place of my T-8 fluorescents. Which are brighter and cheaper to use. Purchased on line as direct replacements for the fluorescents. I have been using the T-8 for many years with no bad results. The timer is set for about 16 to 18 hours of light per day. I guess it would be better to increase the time when I get ready to set back out in late spring but I never do.

Stush thank you for the reply. I will look into the LEDs. What I bought at HD are 2900 lumens for daylight and 1800 lumens for the cool white. I can always return them for LEDs since I haven't opened them yet.

Both are important. I purchased the LED's at the wattage of 18 watts at 5000k which was bright enough for me. They did have 20 watt and higher at 6500k but was much more expensive and I figured I didn't need this level. Next year they might be even cheaper and could always up grade. Purchased at LightUp at about $7 each but had to purchase 10 at a time. They gave free shipping. Another site had cheaper at about $5 each but had to purchase 30.

Can I just come over and take notes and learn. I don't have both lights up yet, but I have two lights, each with 4 t5's and my plants can't compete with yours on any level. Nice growing.
