A bundle of flour sack towels. A personalized cutting board. A roll up over the sink dish drainer. A Never MT. A small gel mat.

Dish towels that go with the new colors.

Williams Sonoma has some very nice stainless steel measuring cups--very solid so the handles never bend.

Nice wood cutting board

trivet to protect the new counters

milk frothers are an interesting tool to have....

Le creuset butter crock pot

ceramic oil decanter with spout

mortar and pestle

collapsible silicon colander

gourmet olive oil

set of wooden spoons, might be more expensive

so many choices ....

Does she drink tea or coffee? A special cup/teacup and saucer/teapot would be nice. I second a nice wood cutting board. Or, if she has a touch of whimsy/sense of humor (I laughed so hard when I first saw this), there's this. You can do a search and find it on plaques, cups, etc.

Cute (scroll down a titch)

Great suggestions! And many of which I use, too. I think I'll do the bundle of flour sack towels and a mug with the cupcake saying (it s very much her).

I like the cutting board idea as well but I think it might be pricey. Might also see if I can find a ceramic oil decanter. I love stainless one but ceramic would be very cute.

Anyone know of a good place to get rectangular flour sack towels? It seems I can only find square ones lately and I really prefer the rectangular. I saw some on amazon but they were twice the price.

Dish towels

Spoon holder

Oil/salts (fancily packaged)

A nice cutting board( will be probably more than 30 though..)

Teas from Harney and Sons or the likes

A sugar pot/a butter dish/ a cute tea service for two

(if she's into cutie-cutie-cute(like me for example lol)-check out these: http://www.royalworcester.com/collections/wrendale-designs.html?p=3

if she's not..the world is your oyster))

A recipee book if she's into it

A nice trivet

(yes I realize I repeat other suggestions..))

and a mug with the cupcake saying (it s very much her)

yay!

i did a quick search and found these, but Sophie might know of the best quality and value.

I'm addicted to the Ikea Tekla towels, but those might not be nice enough for a gift.

A food item, something consumable or gift certificate to a kitchen store like BedBathBeyond, Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma.

Nothing that has to be "used" or stored. I received towels, cutting boards, utensils, mugs, stuff that don't match my taste or decor... stuff that takes up storage space.

I'm usually lucky in that regard since everybody seems to know my taste by now . well everybody who'd give me a present

but if in doubt-yes, mdln has a point..something edible/drinkable

A crusty bread, fancy salt, bottle of wine. And a note, Google housewarming and change for kitchen.

Spoon & lid holder, use it all the time!
