Cyclamen help - found a seedling!

Hi Everyone,

I was watering and found a tiny cyclamen coum seedling from the plant that died 3 years ago. One tiny, tiny leaf the size of my pinky nail.

I'm excited, but as the original plant and it's many babies all died at that site, I'm thinking relocation is needed.

I know growing it indoors is recommended, but I have spotty watering habits. My orchids love it, other plants....not as much.

So, second thought is to remove and plant in the super dry area under a huge hickory. It just rained and I thought I could take a huge chunk of soil with the tiny seedling embedded in the center and just swap it out with another hunk near the tree. As it is leaf blowing season, I'm thinking of protecting it with a colander to keep it from being totally buried.

Sage advice appreciated.
