Need layout help for deck!!

I’m so confused on this, and would appreciate any creative visions for our deck. Attached is part of a floor plan for the house we are building. We will have a walkout basement. The deck off the first floor has one area that is covered and one area that is not covered. No plans for outdoor fireplace due to expense. All three walls of the covered area are open as it currently stands, with a railing of course.

How would you set up this space? Ie. where should the “dining table” go (if space allows), the seating and the grill area? Very confused and I’m having a hard time envisioning the space. Will have water views to the back. This is on a new street in a subdivision so views to the sides of the house will not be great. (Empty lot right now)

Maybe put dinning table on one of the corners and a sitting area on the outer side of the dining table and the grill up to the house

Which direction does the back face? If it faces west, you may not want to spend evenings out there at all, in the blazing sun.

My deck is 10' x 20'. There is barely room for a small table and 4 chairs at one end, and a grill at the other end. Patio door and stairs are adjacent to each other, at the grill end, so there is no traffic around the table.

Your uncovered deck is not much bigger, with a walkway across the middle. You have the most room for a table on the covered portion.

Faces southwest. However the great room juts out so its wall will block the sun from due west to a large extent. If we put a dining table with chairs in the covered area do you think the grill station would still fit there?

Well it depends on how big your dining table and chairs are. Cut out a little paper square (or rectangle or circle) of your dining table to-scale with your blueprint and lay it on there. Add little squares for each one of your chairs, and one for your bbq grill. Then assess.
