Sign of rot?

Hello all,
this is my first time posting in this group. Thanks for reading/replies in advance ")
I bought this grafted adenium about 7 months ago. One of the branches appeared to rot from the middle this last week. Is this normal of water rot in this plant? A few months ago the lower half (original plant) had its only stem rot off as well. It's growing back now. The last few weeks it's been raining a lot in south Florida. Just curious if this is normal or the plant not adjusting to grafting?
