I like it how it is

Your chandelier is so gorgeous and makes such a strong statement, I think adding a rug is all you need. In my house I like to keep flowers on my dining table, so maybe a cyclamen in a pretty pot or an orchid, but really nothing to compete with the stunning orrery style chandelier.

Something to catch the light would be nice - maybe a mirrored piece or multiple pieces. A simple table runner would look nice too...
