Have fun, girls. It's so good to see you again and it's nice to meet Vickie. I'm sure there are more snacks to put out as the goodies find their way off the table, so we would like to have an 'after' picture of the snack table before clean up on Sunday. lol

What fun. I have to try harder to make it back to retreat since I was one of the originals. I know you will have fun and do some gorgeous work.

Here are some more pictures from today.

I worked on trail run quilts and made some crumb blocks.

Sue worked on her row quilt.

Jackie got 2 tops finished and just needs borders on her Allietare.

I failed to get pictures of Jennifer's and Teresa's, but will do that tomorrow.

It looks like y'all got a lot done on your first day! I don't think I'd be able to get away from the treat table. :)

Have a great time! Thanks for the pictures.

I think I would be too busy checking out what everyone was doing and learning from them to quilt my own. I told my husband I really want to go next year.

Looks like a lot of fun. Quilting all day, quilty conversations and a generous snack table! Thanks for sharing your quilt pictures.

Great looking quilts! Y'all have been busy and getting things done. Good for you!!!! Looking forward to seeing more.

Here we are again. Tim made it back from his hike, but got soaked, so he is drying out. I finished the trail run quilts and as much as I could get done on the tee-shirt quilt without this year's shirt.

Sue finished her row quilt and started on a fishing wall hanging for a new baby.

Teresa finished a Minnie Mouse charity quilt.

Jennifer is making good progress on her double wedding ring quilt.

And, Sue won the first LRC game and I won the second.

We also cut out lots of tumblers, puppies, flowers, and ribbons with the AccuQuilt.

So good to see you all. I'm sad not to be there. It's amazing how much you got done. How is the new kitchen?

Ummmm??? What new kitchen? It was decided that new floors were the only upgrade at the moment.

Looks like a great time and the quilts are lovely. I really like those row quilts. They are an inspiration.

Jackie, I just saw a quilt on Google like yours with the strip pieces and lime green border. Does it have a name?

I can't believe what all you guys get accomplished. All the quilts are lovely.

Today was our last full day at retreat and once again we were productive.

Jackie won a game of LRC and worked on cutting HST's.

Jennifer finished her Double Wedding Ring quilt, started another top, and won a game of LRC

Sue made great progress on the fishing quilt, it is ready for quilting.

Teresa cut 3 inch blocks and started a scrappy charity quilt.

I finished pillow shams to go with Tim's quilt, made a purple Strip-Twist, and worked on some charity quilts.

And lastly, Tim and Jennifer conspired and made me a wall hanging of my Meena. It is a real treasure to me and brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. Thank you both so much.

Here is our group picture for the year.

Jennifer, Jackie, Meena, Beverly, Sue, Teresa

Tomorrow we have to pack up and head home. It has been a wonderful retreat again this year, but next year we will have to find a new location due to price increases. If you know of anything in or around NC or VA please let us know.

Meena's quilt is adorable. So glad everything worked out so well.

Oh Beverly, the wall hanging of Meena is something to treasure, for sure. It looks like y'all were productive and got a lot done. Sadness to have to look around again for a suitable retreat place that is affordable.

It is sad, Sharon, but we will do it.

The quilt after Jen's Double Wedding Ring is stunning! What pattern is it?

It is a One Block Wonder she started at camp. It is beautiful fabric, and was really looking beautiful.

You were all so productive and your quilts are all lovely. The Meena quilt is truly special!

I just heard about a place in Va this past Sunday...will check with my guild members and let you know. Do you think camp cheerio would have us back? I hope to make in it 2018.

I'm afraid Cheerio is out. Last word is we could come on Friday afternoon and leave on Sunday morning, but that would not be worth the drive for me.
