What is the minimum size/specs of pump to ensure proper flow & sound?

I'm considering placing this in a rectangular brick planter with limited Length and width dimensions, unlimited depth dimensions. Although I would like to keep the depth to its minimum to reduce installation and maintenance costs.

The recommended pump capacity is one of these below:

0.20 m 3500 L / h

0.40 - 0.60 m 3500 - 4000 L / h or

0,80 - 1,00 m 4000 - 6000 L / h
