Help! Revere pewter in kitchen gone bad

Help. I need a new kitchen color. The majority of rest of house is Revere Pewter walls and looks wonderful. Just had painters paint Revere Pewter in kitchen today. It doesn't show well in picture but got home tonight and it's super green and looks terrible. Yes, I know it's a color with green undertones but doesn't do it much throughout the rest of house. What color would look best in this kitchen without painting cabinets or changing counters. Anything lighter like cream you can see under where bar stools are will just keep kitchen washed out looking. I'm thinking a much darker color?
Please ignore the drapes in back dinette area. They are being removed. The house was old world and alll being updated more contemporary.

Haven't picked light yet for over island but the recessed lights must be turning things green because I put a couple paint swatches near lights on counter and they show green also.

    In the pictures it does not look bad - and I don't like grays:)

    You said you came home and saw the paint looked too green. Tomorrow, look at it in the daylight - see if it looks better to you. Also, if it is your interior lighting, playing around with different LED bulbs may help too. LEDs come in warm and daylight and in between. I am not a lighting expert, but you could ask at a lighting store what types of LEDs give off the best light to bring out the best in your kitchen.

      I could try different light bulbs. It's really green in person. Daylight tomorrow I know will look different but it's a washed out look. In another part of house I have a dark accent wall called Benjamin Moore Deep Caviar - I'm wondering if this would be better in kitchen.

      Here's a picture I did find of that deep caviar color in another part of house. Might be good for this washed out pickled oak cabinets and tie in with countertops?

      I looked up that color online. Called Bunny Gray right? It looks bluish which might be nice but I just don't know what's the right color for this kitchen. Now I'm scared anything lighter will keep that washed out look.

      A representative from any of the paint stores can do an in home visit. Cost usually deducted from paint purchase.

      I would look at neutral almost white taupe. That will brighten it all up and make it happy. Think linen or muslin.

      Yes, I think the problem is that your cabinets and tile have peachy/pink tones, which are the opposite of the green in the paint, which makes it stand out more. Try to find a paint with slight pink tones (I agree Muslin would probably be a good one to try - in a sample size). Paint it on a piece of drywall or poster board, so it you don’t see it on top of the pewter paint.

      Revere pewter does have green in it, which looks to be the complementary color to your cabinets. Side by side both undertones will pop. Try different LED color temperatures first, and then possibly another greige such as Edgecomb Gray, Litchfield gray, or even an off-white. Whites can be tricky too however. Yellow or orange undertones may work best with your cabinets. Good luck!

      I think a darker color would be better. Any lighter color around the same level as the cabinets will be too blah. Before I remodeled the house the kitchen was darker in the golden colors and it looked great then I lightened up to try and sell before I did this project with kilm beige and that was too matchy matchy and same basic color as cabinets. That's the color sitting on that section where the bar stools would go.
      I do like Edgecomb Gray. Part of rest of house have that color.

      It's your cabinet and floor tone....and could also be led lights in the cans, helping yellow the color even more.

      Colored walls are for side rooms like the bathroom and den. Main rooms get white walls

      We had a similar situation. Revere pewter in adjacent rooms with new HW floors. We were not changing living room carpet for several years. Carpet was neutral, but like your cabs, (only less so) had a pink undertone. We knew Revere Pewter would not look good with the carpet so we painted the living room Edgecomb Grey and it worked well; with the old carpet, Revere Pewter areas, and the new HW which we just installed. As suggested, BM Muslin was our other choice. If you are keeping the cabs the same colour, I would paint sample boards of both Edgecomb Grey and Muslin to try.

      Side rooms are for color and main rooms white? That's a snore.

      My kitchen is very similar to yours. My kitchen is a dark greenish blue. Pardon the clutter. I'm cleaning today! As soon as I get off houzz....

      lhutch13....hmmmm I really like your blue. It looks really nice.

      I have a second kitchen we are turning into a big wetbar and we painted those walls Edgecomb Gray and that looks great because the cabinets are a lot darker.

      I was hesitant to do Edgecomb Gray again on this pickled oak cabinet area because the cabinets are light so I wanted something darker to make it look pretty.

      The picture I'm attaching here has Edgecomb Gray with darker cherry cabinets and looks good because cabinets are dark.

      Have 2 kitchens because we are in the final stages of joining 2 side by side townhouses.

      I got it at lowes. Blue blood by Olympic. I got several different samples and put on the wall and that's what we liked the best.
