How thick is the glass on this table?

    The glass is 3/4 of an inch thick

    Hello, I've had this table for just about 1 year and the base just collapsed--it folded and the very heavy glass slid off and crashed. Luckily, no one was near it. My question is if the base is is covered by warranty? We are an elderly couple and it is virtually unused--decorative only, but it's 100% useless without a base. It looks like the metal screw that holds the 2 pieces together bent and broke the wood. Please get back to me. Thank you, Eva
