I think a light gray on the walls could look quite nice. How about a black, white, and gray color scheme? I don't think I would go too dark on the walls though. Can you purchase some more panels for your drapes? They look a little flat and skimpy. For a fuller look, double what you have there now.

Consider slightly larger (maybe 3 inches wider?) bedside tables, maybe something with a couple of drawers to keep the clutter down a little more. And for lamps, I would suggest a industrial-side pair of wall-mounted lamps on the side walls to free up more nightstand space. Bbl with some photos for inspiration.

I think a dark blue might be worth looking at.

Another thing that could be helpful is to look through masculine, contemporary bedroom photos (and any other relevant keywords) here on Houzz and save them to your ideabook, noting briefly what you like about each photo. That will help solidify the look you're going for.

The bed seems a bit short with the nightstands. If you like the nightstands, which I do, consider adding a low profile box spring under the mattress. I would actually choose a wall color similar to the nightstand color. Here are some visuals...

I love this concept for your room. It looks like 2 sets of Roman shades were installed, and with the lower one down, it creates a taller headboard look for some drama and allows you to open the drapes but still provides some privacy. Woven shades also add a nice textual element, and they come in all sorts of colors, including black.

I actually don't mind the color of your walls now. They go with your drapes, and you can add grey through your bedding. A larger bedspread or quilt will allow you to tuck in all sides for this crisp tailored look.

Here is an example of wall swing arm lamps. You would mount yours on the adjacent walls instead of the head board wall. This pic also shows a large black drum shade light fixture. I don't think we could see your ceiling light, but maybe it needs an upgrade to more of a statement piece too?

I personally would do denim blue, or slate blue/gray on the walls. And with the dark furniture, add in metal accents. Metal lamps etc. You could also replace your side tables with more modern/rustic design (Metal legs with a natural wood top)

Not sure what counts as masculine. Does that mean industrial, or sports, or...? The current pics don't strike me as gender specific. I searched for "masculine pillows" and "masculine corner gallery wall" and got these pics.

For whatever it's worth, I think dark walls look great on any size space, especially charcoal gray, navy or black.

Although I love the light coming into your room with your white walls, I think it's a bit difficult to do a masculine room with walls that bright. A color like Gray Flannel by SW might work.

You could then do the hotel bedding with gray border but I would do a heavier border like these from Restoration Hardware. I would do curtain panels in an even darker gray with a liner so the light doesn't fade them out. I agree with Rina that you could use bedside tables with more storage. This is a nice looking floor lamp from Crate and Barrel.

Although maybe a bit dark, something like this could be stunning and certainly masculine, especially if the walls stay a lighter color.
