Temps in the upper 30's expected tonight---bundled everyone inside in a panic....always the best way I've found :-).....as usual I was amazed at the amount of growth put on over the summer on the deck....fitting them inside was like trying to stuff a dozen octopuses (octopi?) into a 10 gallon fish tank; there were arms and appendages flailing around and occasionally smacking me across the face, poking me in the eye, and trying to run up my nose....no matter how often I explained to them that it was all for their own good, nobody believed me and they all continued to fight me viciously to the very end....Found lots of small budded peduncles, but how many will actually make it to flower is questionable....I don't have a whole lot of hope....anyhow, it's all done now and I hope you guys who grow outside all year, or who have greenhouses, appreciate how lucky you are...Nothing to worry about until next Spring!
