Tin, It is difficult to tell by the photo what species it is. Could be a Arabicum by the skin color and leaves?

The reddish tips. Some look as though they could be flower buds starts, but many are just new growth buds. They do start out this color. You may find that they do not do anything with going into Fall.

Thank you Rick. I think this is an Arabicum. There were leaves surrounding those red tips. Unfortunately, the leaves fell off due to the cold.

Me too - hope they develop. I made the mistake last year of cutting off the same kind of growth on one of my plants, thinking it was just new leaves, turned out to be buds.

Is it too late? I don’t see they get any bigger.
