Does anyone have Omega cabinets in Elemental White? Have you found a white paint color to match?

Can I buy gallons of paint from omega?

I had Sherwin William's color match Elemental White to find the perfect match for our crown moulding (since we didn't buy it directly from Omega).

@Liana what color did you choose? We are at the same stage you were.

We went with the Elemental White perimeter cabinets and Smoky Hills island and couldn't be happier! The white is perfect, not too stark but a true bright white.

@Liana Thank you! What a coincidence. Just commented your kitchen on Instagram. Stunning kitchen again!

Beautiful. What is your flooring? Stain color. Looks like white oak to me 4”?

@Liana read my post above please.

4" red oak with Minwax 50/50 Classic Gray and Jacobean

I hope you have better luck than I, and several other houzzers, had with OMEGA.

They've actually been great! I even had an issue with one of the drawers and they sent someone out to fix it! So far, so good! Only two years in, but we're very happy. I noticed nearly all cabinet brands have terrible reviews online, so we'll see!

@liana was wondering what the code was SW gave you for color matching? Were you happy with the trim compared to cabinet? From the pic, trim looks a little grey

@Andrew no, I don't have the code anymore. We're really happy with how well they color matched the trim to the cabinets, I think you're noticing the shadows on the trim-I probably should've uploaded a pic in natural light.

Here's a shot of the kitchen in only natural lighting

Hi Leana, I’m trying to decide between Elemental White and Pearl as well. You mentioned you couldn’t get passed the gray hue in Pearl. That is my concern too, as we have warm colors and are trying to avoid grays. My concern with Elemental is that it might be too stark. So I’m torn... you feel Elemental combines well/not too stark with your flooring? It looks like Omega offers a Pure White option which I assume a hair whiter than Elemental.

The elemental is fantastic! We are so happy with it. The pure white seemed too stark for me, but the Elemental has a really pretty sheen that looks perfect with the room. Highly recommend!

What size is your subway tile and where did you get it? Also interested in where you purchased the herringbone design and border. We are having our kitchen done now and have the same elemental white and Smokey hills island. Looks great!

Thanks! I'm not sure where you're located but all the tile is from Wayne Tile in New Jersey. The subway tile is a beveled matte white 3x9 tile. Herringbone and border are also from Wayne Tile and they're natural carrera marble. You're going to love the cabinet combo. it's perfect! Good luck!

@Liana "I noticed nearly all cabinet brands have terrible reviews online, so we'll see!"

You are so correct about this! I am looking for a decent brand, - any brand - but every single one someone recommends has 2x the amount of naysayers. Its impossible to shop especially when i trust no one. I know what i have now...Ikea, and they are total crap and falling apart 11 years later. Omega is what my designer shop recommends, but its $14K more than RTA brands I am considering. Its very hard to shop.

I got Omega in Elemental White for my office and dining room. Absolutely love the look and quality. You won’t be disappointed with Omega... but it’s reasonable to expect errors. Both of my rooms are only 1/2-3/4 done. My bar cabinetry got completely destroyed in shipping and they had to rush order new cabinetry. The soffits have not yet been installed, the wall paneling in my dining room’s buffet hasn’t been done, and my office file cabinet drawers were the wrong size (Omega’s fault). My contractor also ordered a floating shelf for my office that was too small. Our installation is scheduled to be completed next week. 🤞 The errors set us back a month, but as they say, good things come to those who wait.

Joe M., What color is your baseboard and trim? It looks like a perfect match even in the photo. Your room looks like a great space to work.

Hi Alice, thanks. My entire desk was built in elemental white, with the exception of the desktop, which is sable on cherry wood. Here is an updated photo of my completed office.

Here are my dining room’s completed buffet and bar...

@Liana I am about a week away from purchasing the elemental white omega cabinets. I love your kitchen! I think we are going to go with a soapstone-like quartz countertop although your counters are making me rethink that decision too! I'm really struggling with the backsplash. I was going to go with a white subway tile backsplash but I can't get past the whites contrasting. I see that you used a matte white tile--is it a pure white or an antique white? Why matte vs. glossy? Any second thoughts now that your kitchen has been in place for a while? Thanks so much!

@willoughwinnie you're really going to love these cabinets! They're such a perfect shade of white! My backsplash is a pure white and we're really happy with it. We actually used these same tiles in our hallway bathroom shower and loved how they looked so much, but were disappointed that no one would really see them upstairs, so we just decided to put them in the kitchen as well. No regrets on our kitchen choices, and you're going to be super happy with the elemental white- it was definitely one of our best decisions when we built our house.

We are in the planning stages with omega elemental white also. Thanks for your pictures. What is the cabinet design? Looking at Tessa but not sure.

We did the Renner door and are very happy with it.

Is Elemental White good for North Facing Room? We are choosing between Pearl and Elemental White. We are going to install lots of recessed lights to make the room bright as we have no windows and only a one big french door.

Hi Andrea! Our cabinets arrive in late May and installation isn't until early June. I'll keep you posted!

Andrea, I think you'll be happiest with the elemental. We have a lot of recessed lighting in our kitchen and we looked at a sample of the pearl and under the lighting it gave off a grayish tint in my room. We have one window and a sliding door so not too much natural light, especially in the morning/early afternoon. Elemental looks great under our lighting.

Hi @Liana great! Thank you so much! :)

Hi again! May I know which countertop did you choose to match the Elemental White? 😊

@andrea I used super white quartzite, which I knew I was Ted to use, so I really wanted to make sure I had a bright white cabinet color. There are some pics of my kitchen on this thread, but here's another

Thanks Liana! Do you remember the brand of the quartzite that you used?

When I finish my kitchen I will post --- hopefully in mid-summer! I choose Sea Pearl Quartzite. Planning a white subway tile with a light gray grout b/c Sea Pearl has some charcoal veins in our slabs.

Liana is there any chance you have the label from Sherwin Williams color match to post?

Hi Leeklee, We had it matched to Sherwin Williams Pure White.

One more thing...we went with quartz that had a beige - grey back tone because the really white quartz colors made Elemental look a little yellow.

Hey Alice. What is the name and brand of your quartz countertop?

Hi All. I have the cabinets but need to choose quartz countertop and backsplash, help!

Hi Andrea P, MSI callacatta valentin. There is a large thread about the quartz.

    Andrea P: here's that thread...
Check out this discussion on Houzz - https://www.houzz.com/discussions/6038313/msi-calacatta-valentin-quartz-does-anyone-have-this

Is the callacata valentine glossy? My peg is something like since i am using gold hardware but not sure if something like this will look good on elemental white cabinets.

Andrea P: Yes, mine is glossy.

Hey all! Looking at MSI, Silestone and Vadara countertops. Any recommendation besides Valentin MSI? Looking at White hues

Hey all! This is the color of my floor. Post oak. I am planning to use brushed gold hardware for my cabinets. Now I am looking for countertops. I havent seen the actual Valentin but from the photos, I like it. I also saw Seacourt by Cambria and it also looks nice.

Not sure if the Cambria Smithfield and Cambria Dovedale works with the white on white kitchen that i am hoping to achieve.

    Anyone who used Seacourt??

    Appreciate your help

Alice, what height are your ceilings? What’s the total height of your pendants?

Sara, our ceilings are 9' tall. The pendants are 27" from the ceiling to the glass, and the glass is about 8". Pendants came with additional rods so they may be adjusted. Side counter height 36" and island 38".

I went to Home Depot with a cabinet door and had it matched. Benjamin Moore was very little help.

Throwing in another white : ) How does White Dove compare to Elemental (east facing open floor plan)?
