even if you watered more than you did it's not the equivalent of rain..rain is amazing..we had no rain and I spent hours for WEEKS watering my plants..my water bill was $144.96!!..my plants were ok but after several decent rains recently they were rejuvenated!!..there was a noticeable improvement..wish I could control the weather..would save me time and money haha..

My June still looks good too! It's hasn't skipped a beat all summer, really likes the sun here.

Lovely hostas. I've got some that look good but we also did not have much rain this past summer and so far this fall. Wish we could get a few inches since our ground is so dry and even though we water a lot that hardly makes a dent in the amount of water the hostas need.
