Donna, I'm kind of embarrassed to say it took around 10 years to bloom. I'm sure you would have it blooming way faster than that. I've got another one (a primary hybrid between 2 species) that I've had for something like 13 years that has never bloomed, but the bulbs are overflowing out of the pot. Guess my conditions just aren't good for some of these :o) Dan

I that is also who I purchased from. He is fantastic. I think his primary hybrids are so interesting. I'd my psittacinum looks anything like yours, I would be so pleased. You have a beautiful flower there.
