I am so upset with myself right now. I’m a clean freak. When I saw there was algae around the bottom/outside of the pot I decided to wipe it clean with Clorox wipes. I place the pot on top of the Clorox container and while holding the pot with one hand I wipe it with my other hand. When I turned the pot it accidentally slipped and fell onto the table. Snapped the branches but not completely. This is my favorite plant too. I used super Glue and glued them back like when you graft. I hope it will heal.

I'm no expert at all but.. if it was me..I would first make sure the cuts are clean(perfectly straight) not like when it breaks(gets jagged) then go ahead and try to graft them back on if you'd like... or you could also cut them back (hopefully) it will branch out even more for you. I'm so sorry as to that happening.. I also would be heart broken.. but I'm sure more experienced members will chime in soon..

Should I just cut the branches off completely and plant them down?

Oddly enough, if they were not completely broken, sticking them back up and gluing them and then wrapping them with some kind of support has good odds of actually working. I've done it many times with woody and semi-woody plants with great success. I've not tried it with adeniums. Probably going to loose those flower buds though.

Good luck with it and if they start to rot, I'd do as suggested and cut them off and try grafting them instead (in that case definitely remove the flower buds entirely).

I didn’t make any clean cuts. I just put the branches back in place and apply glue around the area. I am thinking of sacrificing the flower buds, cutting the branches off and sticking them down into another pot.
