need help on Grindley platter

Hi I have a large W.H Grindley platter 18 X 12 from my Granny. The stamp is in blue with the name Iceal, at the bottom R N 2 / 3 / 54 which I take it as being make Feb. 3rd 1954. When I checked on the stamps they say 1800's I've tried to locale the name and pattern but on luck. Anyone have any idea what this may be.

A picture would be a tremendous help. Without one we really can't even guess.

A picture really would help....Grindley made several patterns they called Ideal....which I suspect is what you have. and most likely the pattern was regestered in 1854!
