There are literally 1000's of species of fungi that will produce various mushrooms (toadstools are just another name for mushrooms) when conditions are right and many are NOT edible!! You need someone experienced in mycology (and more particularly, your regional mycology) to make an identification. This is NOT something you should rely on an Internet forum for advice........the implications for inaccuracy could be deadly.

Inquire with your local extension service office as to whether or not you have a local chapter of a mycological society you could contact or if they have referrals to any experts.
